Template:Unreferenced In Greek mythology, the Attic War is the conflict between the Amazons and the Athenians under Theseus. The Amazons came to bring back Antiope, the sister of their dead queen, Hippolyta. Antiope had been abducted by Theseus during Heracles' ninth labor. The Amazonian army was annihilated by the Attican forces, and Antiope herself was killed.
